The MEDEWRKN is a co-working project at the heart of the Doornakkers neighbourhood. It is a social project to see what design can do in a local scale. It is also a space for meetings, trainings and other indoor gatherings.

We created Designing Transformation, a systems design framework based on social systems and communication theories. Using this framework, we study, assimilate and tackle complex social challenges that require creative scenarios of cooperation in order to resolve. It is also a powerful communication tool that enables us to negotiate between groups with distinctive interests and expertise.
We gave the selfEsteemed masterclass at Design Academy Eindhoven for 3 years. It is a masterclass on professionalisation and creative entrepreneurship for starting designers. Focused on the non-design of being a designer (such as Business Practice, Economic Culture, Profiling, Roadmapping, Networking and more) this course is all about beginning a great career as soon as possible.
We work on projects related to improving the city and quality of life. We are skilled in identifying clear design questions from complex social problems. We are specialized in creating meaningful cooperation between diverse parties in order to tackle these challenges. We are passionate about improving people's socio-economic capabilities through creative talent development. When working with local government, we explore how existing public services can be augmented with design to better benefit the people they serve.
We use design to improve and develop civic services and experiences. The result of service design brings tangible improvement to the city and quality of life. People, processes and communication are all part of the development and solution of a service design project.
Using design thinking tools and methods, we involve users in the development and delivery of a project. This makes it easier to gather feedback at all times and to quickly test ideas throughout the development of a project, leading to more resilient solutions in the end.
Communication is key in securing cooperation between diverse parties. We quickly prototype effective physical and digital means of communication when implementing projects. We use print, web design, photography, video and other forms of creative and interactive media.
We are at our best when tackling complex social problems. This means we must be able to study societal problems well and define design questions correctly. This is why we use systems thinking in our work. Systems thinking enables us to better understand the goal, context and operation of programmes, products, services and policies.
Social economy entails the pursuit of societal values through economic activities. This approach can offer alternatives when traditional solutions to a problem no longer seem to work. We often implement social economy concepts in our designs in the form of creative talent development or the creation of social products and services.
During times of uncertainty creative practices can be innovative, agile and scalable. More and more, entrepreneurial questions are at the heart of a social problem. We take the best entrepreneurial practices of the creative field and apply them in different social contexts to test and create new socio-economic solutions.
